Edition:
01 / CARDS
Five-card draw
Deal five cards to yourself and five to the computer. Select the cards you want to keep, then draw once. The computer replaces its own cards using a simple holding rule. The stronger five-card hand wins.
This is a practice showdown variant with no betting rounds. A fresh 52-card deck is shuffled for each hand. There are no jokers. Aces can be low in A-2-3-4-5, and suits do not break ties. Wins, losses and ties reset when you reload the page.
02 / HAND READING
Hand ranking challenge
Compare two hands and choose the winner, or call a tie. The answer explains the deciding rank. Start with the hand category, then compare the relevant cards if the categories match.
The order of standard poker hands
From strongest to weakest: royal flush, straight flush, four of a kind, full house, flush, straight, three of a kind, two pair, one pair, high card. A royal flush is the highest possible straight flush.
For two pairs, compare the higher pair first, then the lower pair and finally the kicker. For a flush or a high-card hand, compare the cards from highest to lowest until a rank differs. See the standard hand-ranking reference.
03 / POKER MATH
Pot odds trainer
Work out the minimum win probability needed to break even on a call. The displayed pot already includes the opponent's bet. These questions assume no rake, ties or future betting.
If the pot contains 90 points and calling costs 30, the final pot would be 120. The break-even win probability is 30 ÷ 120, or 25%. The money already in the pot is included once.
A real decision can also depend on future bets, the opponent's range and rake. This trainer isolates the arithmetic. To explore fees separately, use the rakeback calculator.
What these games save
Scores and hands stay in this page's memory. Reloading starts a new session. The games do not require a deposit or create anything redeemable for money. Read the privacy page for the site's data handling.
